Re: Jack Collison
What a top guy and like Dean Ashton such a shame to see his career wrecked by injury.
Would love it if we drew Peterborough at Upton Park in the FA Cup 3rd Round and he was fit enough to play.

Re: Jack Collison
Has always come across as a thoroughly decent lad, so gutting to see these injuries pretty much ruin his career. Really hope he can get back to playing regularly.

Very good / yet sad read. But keep on keeping on, Jack Collison.

Obviously a top young man... and a better writer than half of sports journos in the country.

Re: Jack Collison
good lad, a real shame, hope things work out for him long term.

who was the club doctor at the time? it's not the same fella we have now is it?

Re: Jack Collison
Great article, thanks for posting. Clearly a bloke who loved playing judging by the pain he played through. Sadly unsurprising that the team doctors didn't take the injury seriously. Wonder how many other players have had the same problem?

Also, forgot that there was every chance he could be playing at Euro 2016. Certainly would have been picked if fitter. Feel very sorry for him.

Stomper, thanks for posting. Jack is an inspiration and a top bloke. I hope he will be offered a role at West Ham and we see him again in the future.
